I follow the developing understanding that we are all trauma survivors of our youth and many of our current difficulties are rooted in childhood wounds. I use various methods and approaches to work with presenting patterns and struggles to access unconscious processing as to offer a greater potential for change.
Relational/childhood trauma leaves a lingering response in the nervous system triggering ongoing feelings of anxiety, fear, hopelessness and abandonment. We work together to help alleviate these symptoms, and help you as the client reclaim aspects of your life that have been lost otherwise.
Trauma is not what happened to you, it is what changed inside of you because of what happened. In Gabor Mate's words this allows for a reclaiming of your life, and greater empowerment for the possibilities of healing.
The services currently offered are remote and alleviate the resources and time needed for travel.
Currently I offer individual therapy catered to the subjective needs of you as the client. We work together to determine your goals relating to your therapeutic pursuit, customizing the treatment plan according to those needs.
